West Coast Elevator is a local, privately owned company dedicated to providing quality service and maintenance to all brands of elevators. We have served building owners in British Columbia for over 40 years, operating under the same management and ownership for more than 25 years.
We currently service over 1,500 elevators throughout Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, Victoria and Vancouver Island. Our focus is maintenance, service and modernization for all manufacturers and models of passenger and freight elevators.
West Coast Elevator expanded operations to Victoria and Vancouver Island on January 1, 2008. Since then, our service customer base has continued to grow.

Maintenance, service and modernization for passenger and freight elevators of every manufacturer, make and model.
West Coast Elevator currently services over 1,500 elevators located throughout Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, Victoria and Vancouver Island.
Our experienced, skilled and certified elevator mechanics perform regularly scheduled maintenance. They inspect, clean, adjust, lubricate and replace components as required to help keep elevator systems operating safely and properly.
A service log book records activities and maintenance visits in the elevator machine room.
Real people, around the clockOur local answering service stays in close contact with the on-call technician for prompt support. Emergency service is available 24 hours a day.

Repairs & upgrades
Our North Vancouver shop holds an extensive collection of used elevator parts and components. A full-time shop manager and centrally located inventory help expedite parts delivery to technicians working on site. Our service vehicles carry the tools and equipment needed to service your elevator system.
When a component has performed beyond its life expectancy, we can upgrade door operators, electronic door detector edges, elevator emergency telephones, position indicators, hydraulic tanks, valves and more.

Elevator modernization
West Coast Elevator has qualified elevator mechanics on staff who focus solely on elevator modernizations.
We have completed numerous modernizations on all types of elevator systems throughout Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, Victoria and Vancouver Island.

Our technicians are members of IUEC Local 82. As a signatory contractor, West Coast Elevator employs licensed elevator mechanics who have completed the IUEC Apprenticeship Program.
West Coast Elevator is a member in good standing of the Canadian Elevator Contractors Association and conforms to applicable municipal, provincial and federal codes, regulations and requirements.
